Hi Again! Here’s a little more about me and my story…….

When it comes to fertility, I believe that both mind and body wellness are equally as important…….

Through my own struggles (and boy, was it a struggle!) to become a parent, I am all too aware of how isolating and tough the journey can be. But add on another dimension of working in a healthcare setting, particularly with children, it can feel even more complex and emotionally taxing.

My story …

My story began in 2007 and culminated a decade later with the arrival of my first daughter at the age of 38, after a natural conception. 18 months later I had my second daughter who was also conceived naturally. Along the way, I endured seven heartbreaking miscarriages and underwent three rounds of IVF.

During this time, I worked as a Paediatric Dietitian in a busy teaching hospital—a role that demanded a high degree of emotional resilience. While I didn’t fully understand at the time how this environment was impacting my mental health, the constant exposure to children and the high-pressure nature of my work contributed to a significant emotional burden. After years of struggling, I was diagnosed with depression. This experience not only shaped me but also deepened my empathy and understanding towards others in a similar situation to mine.

Now, I use my experience to support others in similar situations through fertility coaching, offering hope and guidance to those who are balancing the demands of work while navigating the complexities of fertility challenges. My 20-year career as a clinical paediatric dietitian has given me a robust foundation for retraining as a Fertility Coach, enabling me to provide a compassionate, understanding space for you, offering reassurance and support as you navigate your own journey. As your Coach, I will guide you every step of the way.
